Answer Key and Explanations
1. The person is a student.
私は学生です means I am a student.
2. The student studies Japanese.
日本語を勉強します means studies Japanese.
3. The student reads at the library.
図書館で marks the action location.
4. Tanaka-san likes coffee.
コーヒーが好きです means likes coffee.
5. Tanaka-san goes in the morning.
朝 means morning.
6. The cafe is the destination.
カフェに行きます means goes to a cafe.
7. 本を読みます means reads a book.
本 is book and 読みます is read.
8. 毎日 means every day.
This gives frequency in the first passage.
